It seems these days that on virtually every tender invitation the client claims to want an Agile project. But when you dig a bit deeper, it turns out either the client doesn’t really want an Agile approach, or there are aspects of the project that mean Agile may not be the right approach.
At Code Enigma we’ve based our ISO 9001 certification around Agile and Scrum so we’ve delivered numerous projects using this methodology. Out of that experience we’ve come up with techniques for auditing projects for Agile, and then applying a customized approach to delivery, trying to match the theoretical benefits of Agile with the practical realities of building websites as a Drupal agency. This talk shares experience of how we adapt Agile and Scrum to get an effective compromise between Agile principles and our clients’ need for guaranteed results.
